Tourism Innovations Start to Emerge from Discover England Support

The first piece of  customer literature relating to a newly developed product with Discover England Fund support was unveiled by the South West Coast Path Association at the UK stand at ITB Berlin in March. The project, co-ordinated by Esther Pearson, is focusing on providing a clear visitor opportunity for walkers to access and enjoy the 630-mile coastline walk and find places to eat and to stay.

The Great West Way project supported by the Discover England Fund has just held a stakeholder engagement conference in Wiltshire to take stock of the work so far  done, on the walking, cycling and canal route from London to Bristol it is developing, and explore how a business plan can include product development and relevant marketing material integrating the various elements and potential partners into a overall brand and visitor proposition.
